The Scottish Baby Ashes Scandal

Dating to 2014 and formally known as the Infant Cremation Commission this is a very interesting investigation of the practice of burying cremated baby remains in one Scottish crematorium. It seems some Mortonhall Crematorium staff had developed the practice of telling families of stillborn babies that cremation resulted in no bones/ashes surviving and subsequently buried or scattered ashes without the families being present.
